MORE GORJUSS GIRLS... Dont you just love them

I hope you have all had a lovely easter and enjoyed the weather, I havent been home much - friday to sunday, out and about enjoying the local sights.... avoiding the tourist spots and of course the many tourists....but yesterday well that was a different matter, the weather was diabolical, wind and rain so I had lots of time to play as hubby was working.... here are a couple more gorjuss girl cards I made while enjoying the rain, if only it had been dry I could have done some gardening(NOT) lol.....

This is another of my stamps from the back of the cupboard, I got this with the film strip stamp so yes its 5 yrs old and never been used.... I still have a teapot, hour glass and feather so look out for those ones lol

Heres my foxy lady, I think she is adorable... and I love these colours its nice to have a change from pinks lol

The theme for April is April fool or anything funny, here are my atcs for this month, Once again I have done a set of 4 all the same, its the april fool jester using inks, stamps and paints for the backgrounds

I love the sentiment a play on words as they say

GORJUSS GIRLS

Hi everyone, I have been playing around with my Gorjuss girl stamps today and these are just a couple which I came up with.

I love the pink and black but also like the film strip girl too, I will try her in a different colour to see if she works better..... The film stamp I have had for about 5 years and have never stamped it before, so this is the first time and I do like it, I also have a teapot and a egg timer to try out.... It just shows keep something long enough and you WILL use it lol....

I hope you have got your pre orders in for the new Gorjuss girl stamps just like me, cant wait to get the new ones.....

England stampers group - My card & atc for April

Today I have had all to myself, so plenty of time to play with my stash, I thought I would get my card and atc done for my stamping group England stampers, The card is for our Card Lottery, where we make a card on the theme and then a winner is drawn at the end of the month and everyone sends there card to that person.

The theme this month is children here is the card I made for the card lottery.

I have used an old stamp set by Rubbadubbadoo, the punch and judy tent with the children watching and a sand castle with a cornish flag ontop lol

The ATC Lottery this month the theme is Thankful and here is my atc I made for the lottery....

The stamps used are celtic cross not sure the make and the birds are from the rubber stamp gallery, the sentiment is Stampin up.

storage4crafts - the mini stacker

I have just received my order from storage4crafts - I ordered the mini stacker to fit under my desk in my craft room,
I hope in the future to add to this and get rid of my plastic cuboards(seen below on the left) and replace with the stacker, I cant believe how much these things hold - its unbelieveable

I ordered the black shelves which I think are much more sexy than the white lol, but thats my opinion.

I bought the 1" drawers as I wanted to sort out my rubber stamps and 4 x 2" drawers for cube stamps and assorted unmounteds

I made the mistake of ordering too many as I forgot to count the 2" drawers as 2.

But they will come in for my next one lol

I have now added my stamps, and made labels for each catogeory, mega organised lol

It took my hubby about 45 mins to put together, which is very good for him, so they cant be too difficult to make up.
The delivery was good too with plenty of emails to let you know how your order was going.

I would recommend to anyone if you have been thinking about them to go ahead and order.

it may not look much in the pics but its fantastic, and its done the job I wanted it to do and more

Its just left me with a very untidy desk as usual, lol....

Back from the Salt Mines into the Light!

Well if you have been wondering where I have been and what I was doing, well I am here to tell you at long last,

I have been in a very dark place for the last couple of weeks...

Down in the salt mines at the bottom of the ocean... its very dark down there and dreary but I have now managed to get some time off to come up top and onto dry land at last and I am enjoying the light once again...... lol

I know what your thinking - Is she a crazy woman!!!! WHY YES lol

I have a motto - you dont have to be mad to work here, but if you are it helps lol

They say you are at your most creative when you are not contented..... lets see what you think

Here I have been experimenting with spray inks, distress inks and paints

adding stamped images during the paint process as well as after
stencilling backgrounds with sponges and inks

These are some of the designs I have conjured up while coming back into the light......... I'd like your comments as all opinions add to the fun of blogging.... good or bad I dont mind lol(within reason lol)
