Hello Folks
yes I am still around, just not had the time or the engine power lately to do anything in the blog line.... I hope you are still out there to enjoy whats to come!!!!

I am just having a spring clean of my blog at the moment and Normality will resume in the next few days or so..... or so I hope

I have missed you all, and hope you will revisit me again once I get going with my crafty presentations...

Hand made lace flowers - Prima inspired

Dont you just love Prima flower embellishments, YES I do, altho too expensive for me to add to my cards..... well with just a little time and lots of patience you can make your own.

I managed to get this set of 50 mini flowers with pearl embellishments from a local craft market, it was an odd packet and I jumped at it at just £3.99 for 50.(see the mini flowers in the photo above).

Then I added my own layer of gathered cotton lace by sewing a gathering thread along the edge and then drawing up and finishing off.

I thought if I wanted to colour them I could always spritz them with inks too..... white being the ideal choice.

finally I got my non stick craft mat, placed a blob of silicone and glued the layers together, left to dry now I have my lace flowers ready to add to any project.

Try it yourselves and save a fortune, I saw a pack of 6 prima lace flowers for £4.99 wow what a saving.....

Another beautiful day, time is flying past so quickly enjoy the sun while we can.
I'd like to thank everyone leaving such lovely comments I do love to read them and lots of them make me laugh which is fantastic...
Here is my card for today... I love this image its from acey ducey, the backing papers are made using distress inks and mist sprays and over stamped with several different stamps

Ive added funky fibres and layered onto black so it stands out. I always like to finish off with a white card blank.
