Dont you just love Prima flower embellishments, YES I do, altho too expensive for me to add to my cards..... well with just a little time and lots of patience you can make your own.I managed to get this set of 50 mini flowers with pearl embellishments from a local craft market, it was an odd packet and I jumped at it at just £3.99 for 50.(see the mini flowers in the photo above).
Then I added my own layer of gathered cotton lace by sewing a gathering thread along the edge and then drawing up and finishing off.
I thought if I wanted to colour them I could always spritz them with inks too..... white being the ideal choice.
finally I got my non stick craft mat, placed a blob of silicone and glued the layers together, left to dry now I have my lace flowers ready to add to any project.Try it yourselves and save a fortune, I saw a pack of 6 prima lace flowers for £4.99 wow what a saving.....
